Destry
I just heard this name for the first time, and I kind of like it. According to one source, it means "warhorse." I prefer it for a girl, I think.

Um, I suppose I can see the appeal, but it just looks like its following the trend of surnames-on-females-ending-in-y a la Delaney, Avery and Riley.

It's okay. It seems sort of 'wordish' to me though.

I like it. it reminds me of the word 'Destrier', which sounds a bit more like a boy. I kind of like it, although I wouldn't use it. I don't think it's very feminine...

"Destry Rides Again" is a classic film from the 1940's starring Jimmy Stewart and Marlene Dietrich. Not one of my favorites, but it passes the time.Anyway, Jimmy Stewart's character is called Destry. I think that's his surname in the movie. I didn't like it in the film and I especially don't like it for a girl's fn. It makes me think "dusty."
