Louise, hands down. But I prefer Louisa.

Louise! It's simply lovely and very dignified. It's been largely ignored for the last 50-some years so I think it sounds so fresh when used for wee ones today.____

I prefer Louise. Lynn seems blah to me.

I prefer Lynn by a long shot. I've never liked the name Louise to be honest. How about Lynna rather than Lynn? It has more flavor imo. Or maybe Linnea (lin-NAY-a)?

Lynn. I never liked the sound of Louise. Also, it seems like a hyphen-worthy name...Sarah-Louise, Jean-Louise...I'm not a fan of hyphen names, so this puts me off. Lynne is pretty, but I'd only use it as a mn. ______________________

I like both names, but I choose Louise, since I prefer Lynn as a middle name only.

As a FN or a MN? I think Louise has a little more substance and would be a better FN; it also makes a nice MN. Lynn is a nice MN, but I don't think I could imagine using it as a FN.

I actually don't like either very well as a first name, I guess Lynn is prettier. I like Louisa & Eloise but Louise just sounds old and sort of harsh. Lynn is too common as a middle name for me to really like it as a first name. Sorry! :)Image hosted by Photobucket.com
