Vada
HiI saw the name Vada mentioned on a genral disscusion board. What do you think about it?I was suprised that many of the responses were from girls who are named Vada or girls who had named thier daughters Vada and each stated that the inspiration for the choice came from the movie "My Girl". Vada was the main character in the movie "My Girl".Thanks

I like it. I am in love with Zaida (I pronounce ZAY duh) though, so it stands to reason that I would.

My Girl! I really like the name Vada & the character. I remember a scene in which someone teased her about her name and she responds, "I like my name." I think it's pretty :)

I like both Vada and Veda but I prefer Veda. My Girl is one of my favorite movies!

I like it, and I think the character makes it more endearing. Use it.

Truthfully... I wasn't a big fan of that movie, and i really don't like the name. It sounds like "invader" and reminds me of Darth Vader. However, Vada (VAH da) the Indian food is delicious!

I prefer it spelt Veda.

Yeah... "My Girl" is exactly why I wouldn't use Veda or Vada... cute kid, but kind of odd... Can tell people didn't know how to spell it right either... I think it's supposed to be Veda. However, those who only think in terms of En. prn. could do that easily enough.
