Both are okay but I would rather Jake not Jacob. Josiah is good but the nicknames are terrible.

JacobI know Jacob is way too popular but I just can't bring myself to like Josiah.

I like both, but I do prefer Jacob a little more.

Another vote for Josiah. Jacob is far too overdone these days, and Josiah just has a nice vibrancy to it that Jacob lacks.

Josiah. Nickname Jo or Siah. I think Jacob is way overused and I strongly dislike Jake.

Definitely Josiah. Jacob is too popular for my tastes.

Josiah. Jacob is common and boring, and Josiah sounds more appealing and 'nice'. I also don't like "Jake".

Josiah.I really like Josiah. Jacob is nice also, but not my favorite.

Jacob!Whereas Josiah is whiny and holier-than-thou, Jacob is stalwart and self-assured.

Definitely Josiah. Jacob is overused, and I don't care for the -cob part. I like the "jay" sound at the beginning though.

Josiah. Even if Jacob weren't overused these days, I'd still prefer Josiah. It's a little softer than Jacob (but it's not *too* soft) and has a little more charm.

Josiah, since Jacob is over-used and there are creepy werewolves and dolls named Jacob.

Josiah.Josiah, by a mile.

Definitely Jacob.Where I'm from, Josiah is considered to be a name reserved for the extremely religious and the Amish.
