Definitely Vashti! It sounds and looks a lot prettier, and I like the feel of it much more than Verity. I so like Verity, and it's a lot cooler than many virtue names, but it still has that more boring "virtue" vibe when compared to Vashti.

VashtiI like both of them. Verity is my favourite virtue name by far and I've liked it for years, but Vashti wins for sheer interestingness.

Funny, I was thinking about this name yesterday, having met another one recently, bringing the grand total to two (both Australians).
It's different ...
But Verity wins for me hands down.

I definitely prefer Verity. In English countries anyway, I think Verity is more useable as Vashti sounds very foreign.

I always liked Vashti! Then again, my son's name is Vashan, so maybe I'm biased!! lol!!

I love Vashti! The one thing holding it back from favorite-name status is the fact that the first syllable sounds like the word for 'cow' ('vache') in French. I strongly dislike Verity, so Vashti wins that match-up hands down. Combo-wise, I always come back to Vashti Jasmine.

Ooh, I love Vashti AND Verity! Which do I prefer? Hmm.. I'd have to go with Verity at the moment.

I want to like this name, but I hear "vache" and think of cows.Verity all the way.

Errr I want to like it, but it reminds me of rash.I don't really like Verity at all, so I might just prefer Vashti out of the two.

Vashti sounds very weird to me. And I would have guessed it to be Indian. Never would have guessed it's Hebrew.I prefer Verity.

Yeah I thought it was Indian too!
