I adore Carolina and would prefer Carolina, nn Lina. I like Lottie too -- just not as much as Lina.

I LOVE Carolina prn the way you do! It's one of my all time faves. Most people outside of the US prn it this way, especially through out Europe and Latin America. Lena is a cute nn, but I prefer Lina. I would much prefer to meet a little Carolina then a Charlotte. Charlotte is okay, I don't find it very pretty. Carolina is gorgeous. :)

I always pronounce Carolina like the two states so it kinda annoys me when it's pronounced the other way. But I really don't like the name that much at all so I guess it doesn't matter too much.I'd rather meet a Charlotte nn Lottie.

It's okay, though I do prefer Caroline. Carolina nn Lena doesn't thrill me because I pronounce Lena as LEH-na. Carolina nn Lina (LEE-na) makes more sense to me. I'd be happier meeting a Charlotte nn Lottie. If you like Carolina and Charlotte, have you ever looked at Carlotta? I'd be thrilled to meet a Carlotta nn Lotta or Lottie.

It's beautiful, and I really like the way you're pronouncing it. I'm not much of a Charlotte fan; I'd much rather meet a little Carolina nn Lena than a Charlotte nn Lottie. I'd spell Carolina's nickname Lina rather than Lena because Carolina has Lina in it and it seems more logical to me, though.

I don't mind the name, though it isn't a fave of mine.I'd prefer to see a Charlotte "Lottie".

I definitely prefer it pronounce cara-LY-nuh rather than LEE-nuh as I find the "lee" part a bit whiny sounding. I would rather see Charlotte "Lottie", which I think is adorable.

not fond of the prn. you mention... Most people would think of the State... I prefer just plain Caroline (similar to the state, but w/out the a at the end). Lena's an ok nn, but I really dislike the nn Lottie. Charlotte's the same " of syls... The girl can simply be called Charlotte... or shortened to Char if necessary.

It's interesting. I wouldn't use it, but I like care-uh-LEE-nuh a lot better than care-uh-LINE-uh, and I really like the nn Lena. Lottie isn't really my style.
