Full Name for Thea?
My options so far are Theadore and Timothea. It's for my character and I need a full name for her. Her friend's full name is EllaNora( alt. spelling to Eleanora) and I don't want thier names to rhyme or sound simmilar. She is aboutr 13/14 and lives in rural Kansas. She is timid and creative and her little brother name is Xavier. Her last name is Campbell. Any suggestions?

I like Thea on its own, but Theodora/Theadora or Timothea would work. There's also Althea. You could name her Dorothea, but since she's in Kansas, that might be too cheesy because it's close to Dorothy.

I love the name Thea! I first heard it in the movie, For Keeps. :-) That baby's full name was Theadosia (thea-DOH-see-ah). I loved the name so much then (in the 80s), I gave it to my hamster. LOL. Thea was my favorite hamster. ;-) Still love the name. And I agree with another poster, Thea is great on its own. Still, I love Theadosia. :-)

I like Thea and Theia on their own, but they could also be used for any of the Greek names like Iolanthe, Evanthe, Chrysanthe, Xanthe as well.

There are quite a few greek names which end in -thea, like Althea or Amalthea.

I'd just use Thea. It works as a full name.

You sure you need a full name? I know a Thea-just-Thea and it works fine.
