Thanks! Wilder is after my husband's grandmother. Her name is Wilda (WILL-da, not wild+a, but I pronounce Wilder like wild+er anyway), but she doesn't like her name and I'm not especially inclined to use it either. Wilder occurred to me as an honoring possibility that's more interesting than William and nicer-sounding than Willard. Plus it has a nice association with my childhood favorite author Laura Ingalls Wilder :)
