All are solid names, but I prefer Ron and John.
Ron is my favorite. Ronald has a good meaning, "Ruler with Wise Council." It is familiar but not so common as John. Unlike most one-syllable male names, I actually rather like "Ron."
John comes in second. I love the meaning and history of John. Its popularity would prevent me from using it, but I like it.
Don and Sean are nice, but I probably wouldn't choose them myself.
