My favorite boys name :)

It's cool. There's an old American singer called Arlo Guthrie.

I feel Arlo has a lot of potential. I have heard some parents fear it could go to the girls like Addison - but that's strictly anecdotal. While I can see why that could happen because Arlo is similar to Marlo, why not just use Marlo on a girl and keep Arlo for the boys? Of course maybe Marlo was originally a boy's name too? I only know of Marlo Thomas, and perhaps her parents "stole" Marlo from the boys? I'm not sure.

I used to not be too keen on it because it's just so hipster, but then I saw its origin and now it's very awesome old Irish farmery. So I like it paired with stuff that fits that, like Arlo Tuathal and Arlo Flannacha.

I like it as a nick name for Arlington.

I like it. It's both amiable and substantial. The Ar- part gives it strength, and the -lo part sounds friendly.
