Isaline or Ysaline?
Your thoughts on the medieval name Isaline/Ysaline? Which spelling do you like better? Both are legitimate, supposedly it stems from Isabel, Elizabeth, etc, and is related to Yseult, Isolde, etc but another theory is that it stems from Eusébe which apparently means pious.

I'd go the whole medieval hog and choose Ysaline - to me it looks much prettier too. there might be people who need help with the pronunciation, but in view of Yolande, Yvonne, and Yvette these might be fewer than might be feared!

I'm pretty fond of Y names for girls, so I'd say Ysaline. Isaline sounds more like some kind of ointment...

Out of the two spellings, I prefer Isaline. Ysaline doesn't bother me, but Isaline looks better to my eyes.

I never really thought of the saline thing but I can see what people are talking about.

Maybe just... ZelineZeline is quite pretty.

I'd have to say Ysaline because it looks less medical. I can't get past the fact that "saline" makes up most of the name, though.

they sound like IV fluids...I once read about a woman named Iceline. Which sounds like one of those Ben-Gay type ointments.
