Sienna?
I really love the name Sienna, it sounds really graceful. What do you think of Sienna? Do you like Sierra better? Thanks

I like Sienna and Sierra. I'm not sure which I prefer-- probably whichever one is least popular, which I believe is Sienna.

I like Sierra better. I sort of like Sienna ... it's almost like a GP, but without a whole lot of guilt or pleasure.I think both names are ... how do you say this without sounding like a dolt? I don't feel like they are "classy" names, but I feel like they're far from tacky.Sierra gives me an abstract image of wildernesses and powerful innocence, while Sienna sounds more sensuous, like it's about colors and textures. Sienna seems more celebby to me, compared to Sierra. But it's still modest enough for me - not annoying like, say, "Saffron" or something like that.If I met a Sienna, I think I would like her name a lot, as long as I liked her - and I'd expect her to be likable, given no other info besides her name.

Sienna is a mini-van. Otherwise I might like it, but it sort of feels like the vehicle world has claimed it. I don't mind the sound of either Sienna or Sierra though. I can't say as I really prefer one over the other.

I love Sienna, too. I picked it as my favorite trendy name on Billina's "Favorites and Least Favorites" post a few days back. On the plus side, it's a warm and pretty name. It's full of those soft sounds, and there is a kind of fluidity to it. I can easily picture a Sienna as a dancer, gymnast, or pianist--all grace in motion. I like that it's a color name and also sort of a nature name, but not a conventional one like a botanical or gemstone name. On the minus side, I'm afraid it's awfully lightweight, without a whole lot of substance, and it's very "right now," meaning it probably will feel dated quickly. Plus, it's the name of a Toyota minivan I feel like I see everywhere. Sierra doesn't do anything for me.

I like the name Sienna. I think it is really pretty and feminine. I like the color too!! I think it is sort of a nature name. I like it better than Sierra. I think they are both pretty names though. I came very close to naming my daughter Sienna. But, I ended up naming my daughter Charlotte "Charlie" and I can't picture her being named Sienna now! She's too wild to be a Sienna. LOL

Sienna is too close to brown paint, and I don't like the geographical Sierra one bit either. Sorry!

Sienna has a very trendy look and feeling, but I still like it and I much prefer it to Sierra which I don't like at all.

No I hate them both. They sound too over the top and tacky IMO.
