My friends Sarah and Tom were suprised lastnight with a baby girl. Her due date was the 23. They wanted to keep the sex of the baby a secret from themselves and everyone else. Riley Shae is 9.1 lbs and 21 inches long.

I might be one of the few people that prefer Riley for a girl! I've always liked the name Shae too, so I think the combo is quite nice. Congrats to your friends!

I would have loved Riley Shea for a boy, not a fan of Riley Shae for a girl.

Did they have Riley Shea picked out for either sex? I don't mind either name separately, but together it's a little much.

I actually don't know. They may have had riley picked out for either. If she was going for Irish there are soooooooo many other names she could have chosen.
