I'm an Emma.
I love my name. I really do, even though everyone thinks it's SOOOOO popular and therefore BAD. There are five Emmas in total in my year at school, and in several of my classes there are two of us. But I don't really mind. It's kind of fun, and plus, it's always a talking point if you meet someone new and their name is Emma too. I love the meaning, and how it's very historical and literary, even though Jane Austen's character Emma is kind of annoying. My middle name is Charlotte, which is awesome because it's the same as Emma Watson! I've always thought that was very exciting. I also like how it spans the generations. I know a baby Emma born only a few months ago, and I once met an Emma who had been named after her grandmother. It's a great name. And another plus: no one ever asks you how to spell it.
