Medieval sounds nothing like mid evil in my accent, I was pretty confused for a while. I pronounce it phonetically.

He always pronounces medieval phonetically and I've never heard anyone say it that way. Every time he does it I'm like ahhhhhhhhh.

I am a terrible speller
And I'm often teased about it. I find it funny myself. I figured that it was as likely to be auto-correct, too - something else I deal with.
