Rhys
Thanks to all who responded on my last post asking if we should change our mind on naming our twin boys due April 25. Everyone seemed to love the name Rhys. And we love it too. But, here is the problem. Our last name is Harris and we do not think Rhys Harris has a great flow, and the s sound seems to dominate. What are your thoughts again. Rhys is a family name (spelled differently). Also, do you like this spelling? TIA

I love the name Rhys and Rhys Harris sounds good if you clearly separate the two names when you say them. I only like the name spelled Rhys - Reece, Reese, Reace, and Rease (all the ways I have seen it online) look horrible."We can even learn from our enemies." -OvidMitakuye Oyasin

With this spelling, he will probably have his name pronounced similar to "rice" or "ryes" a few times. Rhys Harris creats a lot of "s" sound in a short space since they're both monosyllabic. RhyS HarriS. It may produce some whistling from the teeth.

I do love the spelling Rhys. It is the only one I can tolerate and when it is spelt like that I love it!
Rhys Harris is a bit of a mouthful, but I have seen much worse and it is still a gorgeous name. Rhys Harris makes me think of a strong, masculine, handsome man, or a cute, cheeky little boy :)
I like it. Stick with Rhys.
