Re: Name survey
1. Current favorite name (boy and girl)?
Ellen and August2. Current favorite combo (boy and girl)?
Ellen Astrid Caroline and Isidore St. Pierre3. Favorite name you would never use in real life (boy and girl)?
Louisa and Étienne4. Favorite twin sibset (boys, girls, and boy and girl)?
Ellen and Astrid (or maybe Ellen and Eira), August and Isidore and Ellen and August. Just my favorite names.5. Least favorite name (boy and girl)?
Daphne and Phoebe, Kevin and Liam6. Favorite "non-name" name?
So many but probably Fox or Forest.7. If you had to go into witness protection and were allowed to choose your new name, what would it be?
Probably Lina because I would listen to that name.8. If you could travel to any time period but had to take a pseudonym, which time period would you go to and what would be your nom de plume?
Oh, I don't know. Maybe mid-1800's. Name? Nell Palehaven.9. If you had to let any other BTNer name your kid, who would you choose? You can choose someone different for boy and girl if you like (and BTNer, if you see this, feel free to name the kid! haha).
There is someone on here that likes Alec (Mireio?) and her general style is pretty close to mine (for boys). For a girl I would choose someone who knows that Ellen is the only name I can see myself use for a girl. I think I've made it pretty clear over the years and people are probably sick of hearing about my love for Ellen. ;D 10. What's your prediction for the most popular name (girl and boy) 5 years from now? (you may do your home country, or any country of your choice, just specify which one your predicting for).
I'm going with Sweden and I don't think much will change.
My prediction:1. Alice
2. Alicia
3. Maja
4. Saga
5. Olivia1. Oscar
2. Hugo
3. Oliver
4. Axel
5. Ludvig

11, 12. And ten years from now? And twenty years from now? Do you have any reasoning behind your prediction?
No idea, I won't even try to guess.13. If you could magically make any name (boy and girl) the number one most popular name next year, which would it be?
Linnéa and Carl. I like them and it wouldn't bother me to meet a lot of baby Carls or baby Linnéas

* Ellen * Astrid * Eira * August * Isidore * Emmanuel *
but she wants to be sure 'cause you know sometimes words have two meanings

Yes, I love Alec! I'd definitely use it if my SO liked it, which he doesn't. I also really like Ellen for a girl, it's so underused.
