I like Max best from that list. It's spunky and ages well and it also sounds fab with Jasper.
I live in Australia too and Jethro screams redneck hillbilly to me. I think of The Beverly Hillbillies- there were always reruns on when I was a kid and I'd say a decent chunk of the adult population would think of that too. Jasper and Jethro don't sound great to me either.
Harry is good. I like Harry.
Taj is very Australia trendy. It sounds mismatched with Jasper.
I like Zane. My cousin recently had a baby boy named Zane. Again, I think it sounds mismatched with Jasper.
