1. No. But not doing this does not disqualify anyone from not being obsessed with names. Nobody has all thousand names memorized.
2. No. I'm not at all interested in foreign (to me) names.
3. No.
4. I did have my children named before they were conceived, but in the case of my son, that was because my husband had always had his heart set on a son being named after himself, so that doesn't count. And I only ever had two picked out because I didn't want more than two children. Doesn't count.
5. I have watched movie credits to look at the names.
6. I have opinions on names, but I don't get heated about it.
7. No, I don't get excited about pregnancies because of "nine months of baby name talk." In my experience, few expectant parents solicit opinions of the names they are considering, and I'm never rude enough to give my opinion unsolicited.
8. Yes, I do consider some names that I dislike to be like nails on a blackboard.
9. I do not have favorite names for every letter of the alphabet.
10. No, do not have the names of twins, triplets, quadruplets covered.
11. No, I'd never discuss names with a guy by the third date. Talk about a way to scare him off.
12. I do not recite names in moments of stress.
13. Nope, I don't think I have the right to name anyone else's baby.
14. I don't give a crap what celebrities name their babies. I may have an opinion of the name once I hear it, but that's not the same thing as really caring.
15. No, no Google alert set for names.
16. I don't have a top 10 list, much less re-order it when I can't sleep.
17. I personally have never combined spellings to figure out true popularity, but I appreciate when others do.
18. Nope, don't believe in judging people by their names. Ha.
19. I've never written to Nameberry to suggest new names for their database. I did, however, once--and only once--submit a name here. It was Kenyatta. It's the name of my SO's daughter.
Two out of nineteen. I am not obsessed. Phew.
