Taliesin
Good friends of ours had a baby boy yesterday and named him Taliesin... I'm very curious to start hearing their experience with that name!

Wow! Great to see it used, I've always liked it. There aren't many of them about, even in Wales. I expect people will get used to it, it's certainly no harder to say than some of the others on this list. And Tal is a nice user-friendly nn.
Yeah, that will be a tough one for many people, pronunciation-wise. I wonder if he'll ever be called Tally? I kind of like Tally as a NN (perhaps influenced by my hometown, Tallahassee?).
Tales
At least as of a few months ago that's what they were planning on calling him. I think Tal/Tally will come out more easily though, so we'll see.
