I told Zack (my fiance) that if we're ever blessed with a daughter, her middle name will be Kathleen, after my late mom. I told him it's non-negotiable. Exactly what happened with my fiance and me, except substitute "Jim" for "Zack", leave out the word "late", and subtitute "Zoe" for "Kathleen." My fiance was also fine with it, but I would have fought him to the death if he hadn't been, lol.
