Ransom for girl or boy: I really dislike it, sorry. I understand that, because of the ransom theory of atonement, Ransom can be seen as a spiritual choice, but I still hate it. I can't get past the standard meaning of the word which is really something ugly.

Boys names for the nickname Joey & Gus: I don't have anything new to add to what has already been posted except "Joey" could be a nickname for any 3-name combo with the initials J.O.E.

Girls double fn with Ever in either spot: Ah, I love double names, but Ever is a tough one to work with. When it's in the first position, everything sounds too phrasey, so I think it's better as the second name. I can't come up with any combos, though.

Namesakes for either gender for Leland, Rachel, Beth, and Ann: I'll just add one for the opposite gender. Forgive repeats.

Rachel - Hmm...Shepherd? (ewe-->flock-->shepherd)
Beth - Hmm, again. You could go gender-bender with something like Bethel, gender neutral like Bethlehem, or make something up like Bethson.
