Would any of these be nice names?
First of all, I know these are MADE-UP (I don't like most of them) and actually I won't be naming anyone, okay? :3 Just for funI came across these (they are some popular pairing names on fandoms and stuff) and I was wondering what would you think if they were ever used (i know some people may want to):Welma, Britanna, Delena
Sterek, Klaine, Destiel, Sabriel, Eleric, Jeric, Merthur, Niam, Ziam, Troyler

I really like Eleric. Jerek and Niam are pretty cool, as well. Sabriel is nice as long as it's prn like Gabriel.

Maybe it's because I'm familiar with some of them as fandom pairings, but I find it silly to think of them as names at all, even if we're not seriously considering them. By the way, total Klaine shipper here :)

Welma - Yikes, the bad pars of Thelma and Wilma combined with the look of the word 'overwhleming'. Definitely not good as a name.Britanna - I don't love it, but it would certainly work as a name.Delena - Not bad, actually. I'm saying it like Selena. Is that right? I love Del or Delli as a nickname. Sterek - um too weird.Klaine - Awkward to say.Destiel - it's okay. It sounds like it would be an African-American name. Sabriel - I don't like the sabre-toothed tiger vibe I get!Eleric - huh, weird, but okay. I like Alaric and Emeric, so this kind of fits.Jeric - Odd but okay. I like Jericho, nn Jeric.Merthur - Too fantasy-novelNiam - Fine.Ziam - Cool. Gutsy.Troyler - LOL, sounds like a kid came up with it.

I'd use Britanna, Sabriel, Jeric, and Ziam. On....characters. Not on real people.I actually don't know what pairings most of these are. Hmmm....

Sabriel sound kind of cool, and I can see it being used. Delena could also work, as it's close to Delaney and Lena. The other ones probably not. Merthur reminds me of Merthyr Tydfil!BTW I ship Delena :P

I'm on tumblr so Destiel, Merthur and Troyler made me laugh a lot :'D
I don't really know any of the other pairings - I think Delena is Vampire Diaries, and Niam and Ziam must be One Direction (?)I think maybe to people who don't know about these ships might like them, but to me they're just too connected to the pairings to be taken seriously.

Niam, Ziam and Eleric look like proper names to me ;-) I kind of like Merthur, though I don't like the way it would be pronounced in English. In my own language it would sound better.

Welma - well, basically this is just Velma, isn't it? cuz lots of languages use w as a "v" sound. w/ a "w" sound i dislike.Britanna - that's kind of a cool option instead of Brittany w/o being full-on Brittania or Britain, which I've heard ofDelena - i can see it being used, but i don't like it at all. it sound to me like you're saying "Duh, Lena". Not attractive.Sterek - Star-Trekky. Reminds me of Sarek. Better as a sci-fi novel town or last name, I thinkKlaine -mm...nope. unattractive. metallic Blaine.Destiel - interesting. don't think i'd go for it. Destiny or destroy mixed with something I can't put my finger on. Sounds more like a surname to me.

Sabriel - well, this is already in use in the fantasy series, so I can totally see it catching on. strong female lead and all that. Though, shouldn't it be with what I'm assuming is the girls' group above? has a nice sound.Eleric - could definitely see this one in use. nice.Jeric - not so much with this one. i can see people using it, i just really dislike it.Merthur - Myrddin + Arthur? mmm, nope. plus, reminds me of Werther candies. Niam - sounds alright i guess. i wouldn't want people to call him NYE-um if i wanted it NEE-am though. or vice versa. so maybe it's not as good.Ziam - def. noTroyler - Troilus? Troy+Tyler doesn't do it for me. it sounds like some sort of space vehicle.

All I think of with Sabriel is the Abhorsen series - it's a lovely name, I think, like a more elegant Gabriel.
