Re: Some girls' names - WDYT?
Nymphaea Naïade is certainly unusual and unexpected. I don't like Nymphaea but Naïade is nice. The only problem I have with Naïade is how you would pronounce it. To me the ï signifies that it should be pronounced like -ee (like Anaïs and Loïc). So Naïade would be na-ee-ad. I like that much better than na-YUD.Marlowe is very masculine. I guess it works on a girl but I would much rather see it on a boy.Maybe you could spell Marlon like Marlyn to make it more feminine because those feminine forms aren't very attractive (Marlona is my favorite of the four). I've come upp with Marlonee, Marlonia, Marlonette, Marlonine... they're pretty bad.

The ï just means that ai isn't a diphthong, when it would be pronounced NEH-ad (som NÄ-add på svenska).
