Re: Some double letter names that I like
in reply to a message by Joiya
Associations always influence our views on names. Most of the Aarons I've known have been rude, arrogant people. Between those Aarons and my personality, we've been able to loftily sneer at each other and move on in silence. I think I might have found one of the few nice-ish Aarons at work. Granted, he's not a saint. I really admire his work ethic, sense of humor, and the friendship he's allowed me to extend to him. I can always use more friends and it's nice to have one that I can still respect as a leader in my workplace. He's a cool person. I know how you feel about not using a name because of an ex. I can't use Josh or Joshua for anything. Just the name makes me edgy. Sometimes our perceptions are permanently marred because of the people we come across. I'm sorry the Aaron you met was such a jerk.
