It's been in my top 10 for years.I love the meaning: 'summer sailor'. For nicknames I think maybe Sonny or Somer.
It's the name of a viking warrior who invaded northern Scotland, so it seems like a strong name to me!

Awesome. I only came across it the other day. The site here lists it as meaning "summer traveller" though?
