I think whoever wrote that list is a bit behind the time. Lots of those names are already in the top 100.
I can see Elodie rising. Ronnie is not far out of the top 100 and fits the old-man-nickname trend. I came across a little Otto recently.
Not so sure about Ernest and Emil but otherwise I agree with this but most of these are not really a surprise as they've been getting popular for a while.

I'm so surprised that Ronnie is becoming popular! It's like the moldiest and grossest of the old man nns.
