I don't think JB makes weird initials and I don't get the BS reference at all.
Julia and Abigail do sound like sisters, more so than Abigail and Juliet, but Juliet is not "out there." I would prefer Juliette, myself, but it doesn't really matter. Avoid a middle name with the oo sound, and Julia Elise is a tongue-tangler.
My vote is Julia Devon.

Thank you! "BS" as in the curse word. I know it sounds silly; I think I'm overanalyzing :)
I agree Julia Elise is too vowel-y -- and I agree that Julia and Abigail sound more like sister names -- though I love the idea of Abby and Julie (and that they'd both have nicknames if we went with Juliet).
