I like Jared
I don't like any of them, to be honest.
Mitchell: makes me think of pretentious, selfish guy.
Axel: I hate it. Alex is better, but I don't really like it either
Jamal: might work on someone with Arabian roots. But it's far from my favourite Arabic name.
Jared: Jared Leto
Wesley: I knew a very nice guy named Wesley, so I don't mind it, but definitely not one of my favourites.

Mitchell seems a bit pretentious to me. Like a rich frat boy. But, then it turns and suddenly becomes an intellectual who hates the nickname Mitch or Mitt. Either way, its not my thing.
Axel, I like. However, getting over the fact that it sounds like a car part or a rocker whose name is an anagram for oral sex, is hard for US citizens.
I've only ever known muslim black men with the name Jamal. I don't know why. Thats more of an observation. I don't really have an opinion on it, surprisingly. I'm pretty neutral on the name.
Jared is not my style. I feel its kind of late 80's dated.
Wesley has the same vibe as Mitchell. Pretentious frat boy then serious intellectual who hates the nickname Wes.
