HelpZayden as a girl's name?
I'm naming characters for a story I'm writing, and I thought of the name Zayden. Do you think it's suitable for a girl?

Depends on her background but it could be quite believable.
It might not make her character seem more sympathetic, because it's probably not an appealing name to a lot of people. But maybe that does not matter to you.

I've been tempted multiple times to respond to this post the same way.
Except I think Zayden would make an ok name for a video game character... and maybe for the character in the poster's story too, I dunno what the character is like. Maybe she can shoot lightning bolts from her finger tips. Then maybe she should be named Zayden.

I don't think it's suitable for a living being, girl, guy or undecided. However, that might make it perfect for your character. Only you will know.
