Meredith
I've been liking Welsh names lately, and one that I've really gotten fond of is Meredith (Maredudd, but I'm not really Welsh so I don't think I could use that spelling), as a masculine name.
How do you think it would work in the US? Any combos for it?Bonus Welsh girls' names
Carys
Eira
Gwenllian nn Gwen (bc I can't pronounce Gwenllian to save my life)
Nerys Also, opinions on Paulina?

Didn't see little this Meredith thread snuck in here, so here I am to laud it and speak its merits. Love love love, such a handsome name with a warm dashing smile. In real life, I think it would be hard to pull off. I certainly would love to see it, but in the US Meredith will definitely be seen as a girl's name. My Grandpa's family is Welsh, so if I loved it enough to use in any way I would spell it Maredudd / Meredydd (never sure which spelling I prefer). And call him Bedo for short, which is a Welsh nn for it. Because AWWWWW.Ohhhh how I wish I still had all of my combos. I know I had some way handsome Maredudd and masculine-Meredith ones. And I can't even slightly recall what they may have been. Alas!

I like Meredith as a male name far more than I do as a female name. Not a big fan of the girl names you posted, but I like some female Welsh names.
Siân, Mared, Winnifred, Aderyn, and apparently Afanen isn't really used there, but it's in the database and it's super awesome sounding.
