Penny. I think it's cute. A negative is that it's a nickname and I hate nicknames as given names. On the other hand, I don't like Penelope. Which is why I'd never actually have a Penny. But for the sake of this exercise, if I had to, Penny.
For a boy, Brenton. It's kind of manufactured and trendy sounding, but I like Brent, which is what I would call him.
