Re: If you had to name your child one of the 20 bottom names on the top 1000 list what would you pick?
MAGNOLIA - really like this one. I love the nickname options (esp. Maggie/Mags and Lia but you could also go for Nola or Mia too, see what I mean?) and I like that it's not a prissy-sounding floral name but is still pretty. JAYDE - I don't hate this. I could use it for a middle name. I prefer the traditional spelling, though.RYANN - I think Ryan is kind of nice as a unisex name. I get the adding an 'n' to make it more feminine thing, but I would rather use Ryan than have it be (or be mistaken for) ry-ANNE (which maybe this is, in which case I would not use it)TESS - I'd use it, especially for a middle name. It's short and sweet, but somehow serious, and I'm a sucker for a literary connection (even if it's a pretty depressing one).AADEN - Oh, the sadness of any original -aden names made annoying by the -aden craze. I still like Aidan and Hayden though, but honestly would pause before using them because of not wanting the association with the -aden's. I'd use a different spelling.BRENDON - prefer Brendan, but it's a nice name that I'm surprised isn't more used.GRAEME - Is actually my #1 boys' name so, yes, I'd use it! (but would have to coin toss over the spelling w/ Graham - being in the U.S., I'd probably use the latter because it's more familiar over here)
