I really dislike when names have mismatched gender. I do recognize that there are some traditionally unisex names, but I really get annoyed when names like James receive that treatment. It's trying too hard.
That poor girl is going to deal with her classmates and teachers being confused. James is super-masculine...she'll likely have to go by Jamie.
