What about Rainy? I saw it in a book once - I quite like it!
But not everyone thinks like me!!

I do, for a girl. It's quite bohemian, but I like it!

Spelled Raine usually. I prefer it more as a middle nameI used to view this name as solely feminine but after the Actor, Rainn Wilson (Been watching the new TV series, Backstrome) and having a cousin who recently married a guy named Rain (this spelling?) I'm a bit more open for it on a boy but will always favor it for a girl (:
I used to find the name highly unusual. The only "rain" I think I ever knew was an overweight, Grey tabby (not mine)

Yeah, no that's cool. I don't mind the name either. I just personally prefer it as a middle name more.

I use to dislike the name but I've warmed to it. I still wouldn't use it as a first name, middle name - maybe.

I used to think it was silly, but I'm softening to it. It is kind of endearing.

I like it. I prefer names with the "rain" sound like Reyna, Lorraine or Belraine, but I do like Rain as a simple nature name. It's not too fluffy or frilly, yet it conveys an immediate image that is not negative. I prefer it on girls, but I think it would work on boys too.
