We're pronouncing Emmeline as emma-line, not emma-leen. I do like the "leen" pronunciation, but I think it sounds so much like Emily when said aloud.
I'm not sure about a nickname. I'm sure she'll be called Emmy/Emme by friends throughout her life, but I usually just let nicknames evolve. I'd planned to call my son Griffin "Finn", but it never really happened naturally, so I didn't force it. I'm planning on exclusively calling her Emmeline.
