I'm generally neutral to it. It has a bit of an odd feel to it, but it's generally inoffensive.

If I were picking a name from that same name "family," I'd go with Aidan, but only use it as a middle name since I have a brother named Aidan (he's in his 30s now and was called Aidan way before it was "cool") and wouldn't want it to get confusing with regards to which Aidan I was talking to/about.
