Re: blended names
I have a deep and abiding love for Annegret and no one shall sway me otherwise. >:I There's something quirkily captivating about Liselotte, as well.A few years ago, I made a typo and created/discovered Kimberlyn. I didn't like it and still don't, but I did wonder why it wasn't used more, because the -lyn suffix is so popular and it just seems like such an easy jump to make.Smashing names is something that I'd like to do but somehow never get around to attempting. Someday I'll have to fill a folder with smushed names, but right now, at the top of my head...Georlina (Georgia + -lina)
Nathanielias (Nathaniel + Elias. Obviously)
Fleursula (Fleur + Ursula)
Marteodor Marten + Teodor)
Solohannes (Solomon + Johannes)
Coracent (Cora + Millicent because why not)
Alnyxa (Alexa + Nyx??? I dunno)It's kinda late and I'm pretty tired so I'm not claiming any of these as being good or "logical", and I fully admit that they are ridiculous. :P

Ooh I forgot about Liselotte! I like that one.I'm very interested in the pronunciation of Nathanielias - is it nuh-THAN-yul-ie-us?
Marteodor is cool

That's how I pronounced it in my head, yeah. I guess it could be stressed as nuh-than-yul-IE-us if you want, too.I'm just realizing how much Marteodor looks like matador and toreador. :p I wonder if those will be the next occupational first names.
