Re: Two new babies!
Any Emily name is pretty dull to my way of thinking, but I'm astounded by the Emileah spelling. First of all, since she's named for the mother's friend, I find it hard to believe that the friend hasn't encountered misspellings and mispronunciations over and over again. You'd think she'd be the first to say, "Thanks for the honor, but spell it Emily, please." On occasion, I've seen the pronunciation of Lee spelled as Leigh or Lea but NEVER as Leah.SMH as well. Also, the combo doesn't flow well. That's a lot of l sound going on. While I'm not exactly wowed by Emily Diane, it's spelled correctly and there will be few spelling and pronunciation issues.
