...as Tumblr is calling him, is apparently Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch. Parents are Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch and Sophie Irene Hunter.
I'm thinking they might nickname him Kit, they seem the sort (and I think it's adorable).
Edit: On closer reading of the article, they seem to have gotten several things wrong and there doesn't appear to be any actual confirmation. But thoughts anyways?

I find Christopher to be a very surprising, almost ironic choice, considering how freakin' common Christopher is.

If this is true, then I like it... I'm a bit surprised there isn't a second middle name like Benedict has, but Christopher is nice and classic. I like Christopher Cumberbatch.
I kind of hope it isn't true, though. I feel like they are both very private people (Benedict & Sophie) and really wanted to give their child some privacy. So I'm sort of hoping that it hasn't gotten out, if that makes sense.

If it IS his name, it's a bit C-heavy, but flows nicely. Christopher Hunter would've been nice, but the CCC name flows better than that would, I think, even though I like Hunter better than Carlton. Not my baby, so who cares, eh? haha

I'm not a huge fan of Christopher or Carlton but they're not bad. Kit would be a great nickname for a child.

Meh. Too much alliteration in my opinion, but I'm glad Christopher isn't a name that I love, just like haha. Kit's a cute nickname, and I think it's nice that they kept Carlton too.

Assuming the name in the article has the name right, thank God for some common sense.

It's quite what I expected. There were jokes that the baby would have same kind of old-fashioned and adorkable name like his father's, but I was sure that Benedict and Sophie would end up with a classic, traditional name. I also prefer Kit to Chris as a nickname for Christopher. So, a good choice from them.

It's a bit C heavy, but it's not the worst name ever. I would be avoiding alliteration with a surname like Cumberbatch...it just amplifies the comic character ness.

I hope this is true. I like Christopher, I just hope they won't call him Chris. Carlton reminds me of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, I can't help it. But it's a nice enough name in itself.

I hope it's true. Christopher nowadays is so unexpectedly elegant and makes me like him even more now.
