Annora
WDYT of Annora?
I think it's a beautiful name, but someone has commented that it's too close to "anorexic". It also makes me think of "annoying."Does the sea exist

I don't think it's even slightly close to 'anorexia'. And I'd never associate it with 'annoying' either. It's a beautiful name, and like any other name it can be twisted by people who have hang-ups or enjoy personal attacks disguised as jokes. So the problem, if there is one, is with the human race rather than with a specific name. Relax and enjoy it!

Eegads! Annora hasn't ever brought up "anorexic" or "annoying" for me. It does bring Honora to mind and I think both are lovely names. I've got Annora Delyth and Annora Betony on my PNL (ever unfinished). Looking at your PNL (oh, you've got Betony too), you might like...Annora Celestine
Annora Ellentine
Annora Elodie
Annora Giselle
Annora Primrose
Annora Rosenny - too many similar sounds?; I like the feel of it
Annora Sandrine
Annora Spring
Annora Yvaine - like this :)

I love it! It's refreshing but very usable, and lends itself to many nicknames (Annie, Nora, etc).

I love Annora! As for it sounding similar to anorexic or annoying, I'd think any name beginning with An would fall into that category. Besides, there's always going to be someone who'll have something negative to say about a name. I find that it all depends on the emotional investment I have in the name. If I love it enough, I don't especially care what anyone else thinks.

I love Annora. Doesn't make me think of those words; just makes me think of Honora or Nora with an "A" in front.

I prefer Honora, but Annora is nice. It doesn't make me think of anorexic or annoying at all.
