I pronounce them the same, and I prefer Celine.Selene looks weird to me, probably because I'm more used to seeing Celine and Selena.

I pronounce them the same, but prefer Selene... which is weird because C-name are my absolute fave. Celine is too Dion for me I guess.

I far prefer Selene. It's mythological, classic, timeless. Being Canadian, Celine is so strongly identified with Celine Dion I can't even see it as a separate entity any more (and I'm not a fan of hers). It's also super dated to the 90's in my mind because of that.Celine is said a bit differently also, if you're French. It's like "Sellin'", with emphasis on the last syllable. Selene is much prettier imo.

I pronounce them the same and I much prefer the look of Celine.

I pronounce them the same (I know that's wrong though). If I pronounce Selene how it is supposed to be pronounced it seems very serpentine and sleazy to me. If you're after three syllables I prefer Selina. Otherwise I choose Celine over Selene.

I don't. Celine is two syllables, Selene is three.
Celine is a better name. Selene reminds me of salami

I pronounce them the same (though I know Selene is "supposed" to be seh-LEE-nee).I prefer Selene, because I like the moon. :)Both very reminiscent of pop stars.

Yes; I'd go with Celine. Selene is pretty too, but unlike Celine, I picture a very specific kind of person...it's the perfect name for a spiritual, New Age-y woman.

I do pronounce them the same, but not a big fan of the name. I would prefer Selene or Celine though.
