Candice or Claudia?
Which do you like more or hate less? I prefer the Candice spelling, but you can imagine it's Candace if you like.

Claudia is OK, but not a favorite. Candice sounds kind of tacky to me.

ClaudiaI've never liked Candace/Candice because it reminded me of Candy (not that candy is a bad thing, just not for a name).

Both are nice, though I wouldn"t name a child Candice because it's not Italian sounding enough.

CandiceBut only that spelling. I don't like Candace nearly as much, though I can't say why. I kinda dig female names that end in an -s sound. Claudia's interesting, and should be used more often, but I'd never name my own kid that.

Claudia definitely. Claudia sounds classy and regal, although it isn't something I would use myself. To me, Candice sounds whiny and annoying. I think it's the "deece" sound in the middle. Candace is marginally better.

ClaudiaCandice makes me think of the Pokemon character, and I don't like the nickname Candy.

ClaudiaMore familiar and more international. Candice is okay, but I've never met one. I do like Candida.

It would be easier living with the name Claudia here but I really can't stand it. Candice and Candance would get different pronunciations so for this question I'm sticking with the Candice spelling. I'm thinking it might not be too bad but her nickname would probably be Candy and I kind of hate that. Or Andy which is even worse.

Candice...It's got an interesting meaning. The meaning of Claudia sucks.I didn't love the sound of either, but I prefer the "candy" sound to the "claw" sound.

ClaudiaI like Candace and Candice is alright, but names that end in S sounds are not really my thing, and it bugs me that it sounds like can this?. Anyway I think Claudia is so lovely. Candace can't compete with it.

CandiceI used to lovveeee Claudia, but I met two really strange people named Claudia in the last two years so it put me off. Unfortunate. :/ It also doesn't sound as nice IRL, at least not with my accent. On the other hand, I met an awesome Candace last year, so that's my pick. I think I prefer the Candice spelling.

CandiceThough I prefer it spelt Candace. I find it rolls off the tongue easier. Claudia is pretty but has never felt natural to me. I have been watching both The West Wing and Army Wives so I've had Claudia as part of a double name on my mind.
