Marshall
Marshall is a family name but I'm unsure about how I feel about it. What are your thoughts on Marshall?

Four years ago, when I was pregnant, I loved Marshall. My SO vetoed it because of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. But now, four years later, I am beginning to sour on the name. I think the main reason is because of my son's love for Paw Patrol. Every dalmatian we see is now Marshall. I think now I prefer Mitchell.

Definitely one of the nicer lns, and therefore should be better than just OK as a fn. I like it, but I've got positive associations with it as a ln so maybe that's affecting my judgement.

I love Marshall, it's been on my list for quite a while now and peeped into my top ten a couple of times.
I can't remember what first alerted me to the name but I like it's uncommonness whilst still being recognisable and I think 'Marsh' is a cool nickname.

I really don't like it, probably because it makes me think 'martial'. And it's likely to be shortened to Marsh..... which is just a bit cold and squishy! That said, I know an absolutely awesome Marshall and he carries it off pretty well

I think it's alright.
I have to admit that I think of "How I met your mother" though.

I can't say I like it. It makes me think of marshmallows, as does Marcia and Marsha. I once worked with a young Marshall. Well, he was about 20 years old when I knew him, I guess he would be in his late 30s now. I thought it was an unusual name for a young guy.

Reminds me of a dog. Like Marshall from Paw Patrol. Or a red head.
