My name :) I always get positive feedback from it but it does get misspelt often and mispronounced a bit but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I think it fits everyone well and is good in most countries (I've done a bit of travelling and it's not too common but everyone will recognise it as a name). I pronounce it: Uh-Lee-na in English as close to the german way as it's possible for english to get. Some misspellings Ive got:
Uleena
Elena
Elina
Alinah

I only quite like it. I prefer Aline, and Alida which is one of my absolute favourites

I don't mind it. I feel like it is pretty and simple and a bit different than the norms, but still easy to read and say. I've never thought of it before. Close friends considered Alena for their daugter, but wanted it pronounced ah-LENN-ah. After enough people told them they would have thought it was pronounced ah-LAY-nah, they changed their minds. Anyway, I'm assuming Alina is pronounced ah-LEE-nah, yes?

I really like Alina. It's a lovely name which suits both children and adults.
I think I slightly prefer Elina though, but that's more common here.

I love it, but think it would blend in with a zillion other similar-sounding trendy girl names (Elena, Alaina, Eliana, Alexa, Alexia, etc).

I really like this name, I think it's lovely, it is similar to other names but I like it is a form of Adeline which is my grandmother's name so it is a good honouring name to use.

It's so close to so many other names I've encountered such as Lena, Lina, Elena, Alena, Alisa, Annina, Aaliyah, Alana etc. It is not a bad name, it just shares a similar sound with way too many other names.

Love!!!Alina sounds very soft, feminine, gorgouse and so on. The first time I came across this name was a few years back when I was reading this series. The main character was named Alina. I instantly took a liking to the name.
A very excellent name! (:
