I would spell it Caley and claim that it was a surname or something to give it some legitimacy :P I guess Ceilidh would be another option because it is a word. Oh and Kayleigh and Kaylee also make sense to me (Kay+Lee, Kay+Leigh) but I don't like the way they look too much, they are okay. Kayley and Kaley look fine to me but I don't care for them. I dislike Kaylie and Kailey but I don't think they are horrible.I think the worst are Kayli, Cayli, Kaeli, Caili etc.

I actually know of a man whose name is Caley.
I kind of like it on a guy and he's like 30ish so I kind of assume it may be a family name or something for him. The first time I heard it and found out it was the name of a grown man, I was pleasantly surprised.
Furthermore, I have a friend whose parents named her Kaeli. When she was in her early twenties, she had it changed to Ceilidh because she said if she was going to have to spell her name for everyone, she was at least going to have it be something legitimate.
