Ellie and Evie sound a bit sugary to me, but if you like sugar, go for it.
I also find it slightly odd to name one after a tree and the other after a Catholic saint. Is Genenvieve a typo? I'm assuming it is, but if it isn't then it's beyond horrible. And I can't see the point of taking a word and using it as a name, but also changing its spelling - if it's good enough to use, surely it should be good enough not to mess around with?
