I like Lorena better. It sounds less dated than Lorraine.

Lorena. It's one of my favorites. So nineteenth century and romantic. Lorraine is harsh and dated in a bad way.

It's not my style, sorry. It feels a little redneck to me. I also can't help but remember Mrs. Bobbit.

Lorraine, always. I love it.

Lorraine, I like the rain part and the nickname Laurie spelled that way, but Lorena is also cute and I like Rena.

Lorraine! I think it's gorgeously underrated, and I love that Lorraine Hansberry is a namesake. Lorena doesn't have an intuitive pronunciation to me. I assume it's pronounced like Lorraina would be but I could easily see it being more like Loreena or Lorenna or Laurena or something.
