Never cared for Cosette. It sounds like the name of a spoiled lapdog. I know someone with a Pekingese named Cosette, and the dog's a nasty piece of work.I think Cosetta sounds even worse than Cosette.

I love Les Misérables (my 2nd favorite musical after PotO), but I prefer Fantine and Eponine to Cosette. The reason is it rhymes with two words in Swedish...korsett (corset) and klosett (old word for WC chair).
I actually think Cosetta is cuter!

It sounds too much like "small thing" in Italian.

That's the origin of the name. It comes from "small thing" in French/Italian.

I love Cosette. Cosetta is pretty too but seems a bit too much for me. But maybe just because I'm so used to Cosette and this variant is new to me.

I kinda like it, in a GP way! I agree with Summit, though--Cosetta would be the better choice in the English-speaking world.I can't think of any combos right now, but I'll edit this if I do.
