WDYTO this Scottish/Irish name?
Ruadh comes from a nickname for a redhead person. Infact it means 'red' in Gaelic.

It has also an Irish form (Ruadhán) and an English one (Roy).

How do you pronounce it?

I like Roy, especially because it's the name of one of my favorite Fire Emblem characters. Not crazy about Ruadh.

It's interesting, but really only works if you're in Ireland or at least of Irish descent. Outside of Ireland no one would know how to pronounce it.
